The Rollercoaster

There are good times and hard times. Everyone has them. We just have to get through the hard times to get back to being comfortable and stress-free again.

I've seen it happen many times. The rollercoaster. The sacrifices made when times are tough, and the happiness and freedom when that's over. It always turns around. You just have to play the long game, to make sure you stay standing (or crawling). And whenever someone gets through the hump, I feel so much joy and relief for them.

But when it's good, we should be wary of becoming complacent. We should prepare for when luck turns around again. So that when the hard times comes, we're not left with nothing. We're not pushed to the corner. We're not helpless.
